Nana's Butter Cookies

Very decadent, great Christmas cookies and yummy with cream cheese icing on them. Store in airtight container with a piece of white bread to keep them from getting rock hard.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter, Salted
- 2 cups Sugar
- 3 egg
- 4 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Directions
Cream softened butter and sugar with vanilla until smooth in a mixer. Add each egg one at a time and blend well. Add salt and flour. Chill dough for 2 hours or overnight. Roll to 1/2inch thickness. Bake at 400 for 8-10min until just browned on bottom.
