Easier version of my Papa's vension soup

Ingredients

Directions

Cut 1lb. beef into small portions (about the size of your thumb nail) and brown. Add 2-3 quarts water plus potatoes, 1/4 cup diced onions (or you can substitute one package of Lipton's onion soup mix) tomatoes, veg-all (mixed veggies) 1 1/4 cup tomato sauce, au jus and 1 cup veggie broth.

Bring to a boil, then add whatever dry herbs you like. I use basil, thyme, oregano, galic salt, (about 1/4 tsp each) 2 bay leaves and salt and pepper to taste.

Next put in one bag of boil in bag rice or whatever you wish. Also add 1 1/2 cup noodles. (see above for what I used in the calorie counting)

soup is done when everything is cooked.

NOTE:
the portions of the ingredients are based on their labels' "serving" basically I used a can of each"

In the ingredients, I listed "Bold Stock Beef Sirloin" only because it was the closest to what I actually used (a left over 1/2 cup of Arby's Aujus) which I could not get this system to except) you use what you like
