Pasta Pomodorini

This is a very tasty, healthy dish, that comes together in minutes.
Ingredients
- 6 cups Cherry Tomatoes
- 1/4 cup Fresh Garlic
- 1 oz 100% Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Basil, Fresh
- 2 oz Pasta, Spagetti Thin Whole Grain
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper
- 10 3/5 oz Asparagus Spears
Directions
Wash your cherry tomatoes and fresh basil. Place the cherry tomatoes in a large bowl and crush them, saving the juice. Boil water for your pasta.
Place olive oil in a pan, heat and add the peeled, sliced garlic (finding fresh peeled garlic makes this so much easier), saute until light brown,add in the cherry tomatoes and juice, and the fresh basil. Let this mixture cook down. Add your favorite hot pepper to your taste.
I let this mixture cook for about 10-15 minutes. Toss in the fresh asparagus spears in the last 3-5 minutes.
Serve over whole grain pasta.
