Chocolate Peanutbutter Balls for the holidays. Never said they were healthy, but man are they good!
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Butter, Salted
- 40 oz Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 lb Sugars, Powdered
- 1 lb Brown Sugar
- 12 oz Rice Krispies Cereal
- 1 lb Toll House Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Directions
Mix softened butter, peanut butter, powdered and brown sugar together. Make a small crater in the center after blended and slowly fold in the rice krispies 1 cup at a time until the entire box is blended into the mix.
A spatula will be good at first, but once dense you will need to fold it in with your hands until stiff.
Use a teaspoon to make bite size balls and put on a waxed paper cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
While the balls are chilling melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler. Add 1/4 block of Gulf Parafin wax in with the chips. The will make the chocolate shiny and add firmness to the morsel once chilled.
Take chilled peanut butter balls from fridge and use a toothpick to dunk each ball into the melted chocolate. Replace on waxed paper and refrigerate all the dunked balls again.
