Robbins Cookies

A family recipe for the BEST chocolate chip cookies.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Sugar, Granulated
- 2 cups Light Brown Sugar
- 2 cups Butter: Salted Sweet Cream
- 4 Eggs
- 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Pure Baking Soda
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 6 cups All Purpose Flour
- 3 cups Oven-toasted Quick Oats
- 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Directions
1. Mix together both sugars and butter.
2. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
3. Slowly stir in salt, baking soda, baking powder, and flour. Use your own judgment on how much flour to use. (Original recipe calls for between 5-6 cups.)
4. Slowly stir in quick oats. Then add chocolate chips.
5. Bake @ 375ºF for 8-10 mins. (For softer cookies do 8 mins.) Let cool.
