Salmon Sashimi Platter with Avocado and Grapefruit

Pesce crudo, or raw fish, from Italy inspired this stunning salmon sashimi platter. Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which promote a healthy cardiovascular system and decrease your risk of heart disease. Its also a good source of vitamin B, which is important for energy metabolism and proper nervous system function.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 4

  • 1/2 lb raw wild salmon
  • 1 fruit without Avocados, raw, California
  • 1 yields Grapefruit juice, pink, raw
  • 1 Red Radishes
  • 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened grapefruit juice
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt Crystals
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS

1 Layer salmon, avocado, grapefruit and radish on a serving dish.
2 Whisk together avocado oil, grapefruit juice salt and pepper.
3 Drizzle vinaigrette on crudo and enjoy!

5 Use sushi-grade salmon whenever you plan to eat it raw!
