Samosa Chaat

Two samosas are crushed onto a bed of seasoned chickpeas, then garnished with plenty of diced raw onion, tomatoes, and a generous splash of tamarind sauce.
Ingredients
Green Chili Chutney:- 4 oz Diced Green Chilis
- 2 pepper Jalapeno Pepper
- 5 medium Tomatillos
- 1/4 cup Onion, Sweet
- 1 cup Sugar, Granulated
- 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 serving Anaheim Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1/4 tsp Chili Powder Generic
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 cup Onions
- 1 tsp Cumin Seed
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Ground Coriander Seed
- 1/4 tsp Ginger, Ground
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Spice
- 1/8 serving Cardamom Pods
- 1 tsp Salt
- 28 oz Canned Tomatoes, Diced
- 1 tbsp Cilantro
- 1 serving Spices, Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 serving Greek Yogurt
- 42 oz Fat Free Milk
- 5 tbsp Granulated Splenda
- 2 tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 pouch Yogurt Starter
- 100 g Samosa
- 1/4 cup Tamarind Date Chutney (mild)
- 1/2 cup Onions
- 1/2 cup Tomatoes Diced
- 1 tsp Spices, Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Chana Chaat Seasoning
Directions
Green Chili Chutney: Half and seed peppers. Half the onions. Roast for 25 min at 350F.
Take 1/4 c of onion and tomatillos and blend them until smooth.
Mix diced chilis, diced peppers, sugar, vinegar, cumin, chili powder, salt, and tomatillo blend in a saucepan and cook on medium low heat for 25 minutes until reduced.
Chana masala: Saute onion in olive oil. Add spices and cook until fragrant. add tomatoes and 2 cloves of garlic, minced. cook until thickened. Add drained and rinsed chickpeas and continue to cook until thick and peas are tender and flavorful. Add water as necessary. Stir in yogurt and a squeeze of lemon if desired.
Yogurt: Bring all milk to 180 degrees. Cool, add yogurt starter, splenda, vanilla. jar. put in yogurt maker for 7 hours.
1. The samosas should be crispy for the chaat to taste good. So put the samosas in the oven or fry in hot oil just for a minute if the samosas are not crispy enough.
2. Arrange two samosas in a serving dish and smash it with your hands. You can also cut the samosas into 2-3 pieces with a knife.
3. Put already prepared Chana masala over the smashed samosas.
4. Top it with some chopped onions, tomatoes, cilantro, tamarind chutney and green chutney.
5. Pour the beaten yogurt over the top.
6. Sprinkle some red chilly powder, cumin powder and chaat masala over the yogurt.
Serve this as an appetizer or as an evening snack.
