Sekely gulas (Sauerkraut Goulash)

Beef stew with sauerkraut, very popular in Croatia. Often eaten with mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- 800 g Sauerkraut
- 2 medium Yellow Onion
- 400 g Beef
- 3 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne
- 2 tbsp Tomatoes Paste
- 1 cup Simply Beef Broth
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 800 mL Water
Directions
Cut the beef to cubes, put them in a pot with oil, and brown. Add chopped onions and stir. When the onions reach glassy color, add tomato paste, red pepper and stir. Mix the broth powder in a separate containter and heat, when it's done pour into the stew. Cover and cook for another hour, hour and a half.
