This recipe always gets rave reviews every time I've made it. It's easy and delicious!
Ingredients
- 16 oz Bowties
- 1/4 cup Sesame Seed
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 tsp Oil, Sesame
- 1/2 cup Cilantro
- 1/3 cup Rice Vinegar
- 1/3 cup Soy Sauce Light
- 2 tbsp Granulated White Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Ginger Root
- 1/3 cup Green Onion
- 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup Shredded Carrots
- 1 cup Snap Peas
- 1 cup Bean Sprouts
- 1 cup Broccoli
- 1 cup Red Bell Peppers
Directions
1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Toast the sesame seeds lightly. Stir frequently and remove from heat when they are lightly toasted. Be careful not to burn the sesame seeds.
2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain pasta, and rinse under cold water until cool. Transfer to a large bowl.
3. Combine vegetable oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, sesame seeds, ginger, and pepper into a container with a lid that fits tightly. Shake well.
4. Pour newly created sesame dressing over pasta, and toss to coat evenly. Gently mix in cilantro, carrots, snap peas and green onions.
