Single-Serving Apple Cobbler

Begin by slicing and sauteing a Gala apple with cinnamon and a pinch of sea salt. Next, add the apple slices to a dish. Sprinkle your favorite granola cereal and a drizzle of pure maple syrup on top. And that’s it! You’ll be amazed by how you can get the fresh-baked taste of apples in two minutes.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

  • 1 medium Gala Apples
  • 1 1/2 tsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
  • 1/8 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/3 cup Granola Cereal
  • 2 tsp Pure Maple Syrup

DIRECTIONS

1 Core, halve, and extra-thinly slice Gala (or other red) apple.
2 Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high. Add apple slices, cinnamon, and salt and sauté until lightly browned, about 2 minutes.
3 Cover, remove from heat, and let stand covered until apple slices are softened, about 5 minutes.
4 Transfer apple mixture to ramekins or dessert glasses. Sprinkle with granola, drizzle with maple syrup, and serve while warm.
