Sloppy Jack

Not really Diet material, but will fill you up at lunch. Similar to Sloppy Joe, but using Jack Miller's barbecue sauce and some other spices. The photo is of a variant of this recipe. same recipe, but added to a bread-lined ramekin and topped with shredded cheddar and then baked an additional 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees F. Calories? We wont go there. :)
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Turkey - Raw
- 148 g Medium Green Bell Pepper
- 1/2 cup Red Onion
- 1 cup The Bar-b-que Sauce
- 1 tbsp 1 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 2.9 oz
- 1 tsp Extra Light Olive Oil
Directions
1. Brown ground turkey, red onions, and green bell pepper in skillet. on medium heat with olive oil in skillet.
2. Drain skillet and return to heat.
3. Add Jack Miller's barbecue sauce, garlic powder, and brown sugar.
4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve on a bun or all by itself.
