SKINNY MIXED BERRY COBBLER COOKED IN SLOW COOKER
Ingredients
- 1 cup All-purpose Enriched Unbleached Flour
- 1 1/2 cups Granulated Splenda
- 1 tsp Baking Powder Double Acting
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
- 3 tbsp Egg Whites
- 2 tbsp Milk-1%
- 2 tbsp Pure Canola Oil
- 4 cups Organic Frozen Berry Medley
- 1 tsp Orange Zest
- 3/4 cup Water
Directions
MIX ALL THE DRY INGREDIANTS (HALF OF THE SPLENDA ONLY)EGG WHITES AND MILK AND OIL IN SECOND BOWL. STIR LIQUID INGREDIANTS INTO DRY AND MIX UNTIL BLENDED.
SPREAD BATTER EVENLY OVER THE BOTTOMS OF GREASED SLOW COOKER (5 QT SIZE).
IN A SAUCE PAN COMBINE BERRIES, WATER,ORANGE PEEL AND 3/4C SPLENDA AND BRING TO A BOIL.
REMOVE FROM HEAT AND POUR OVER BATTER ADN COVER COOK ON HIGH FOR 2.5 HOURS. OR UNTIL TOOTHPICK ISERTED INTO BATTER COMES OUT CLEAN. TURN OF COOKER. UNCOVER AND LET STAND 30 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING. SERVING SUGGESTION: TOP WITH VANILL ICE CREAM AND SPRINKLE NUTMEG ON TOP.
