Slow Cooker Split Pea Soup with Chorizo/Andouille

Ingredients
- 1 lb Green Split Peas
- 10 cups Chicken Broth Reduced-sodium
- 1/2 lb Andouille Sausage
- 1 1/2 cups Diced Carrots
- 1 cup Shallots
- 2 clove Garlic
- 2 Spices, Whole Bay Leaves
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Remove bay leaves and season with salt and black pepper before serving.
