Sofrito I

Blended veggies that you saute then use as a condiment for any meat. I use it for shrimp, chicken, pork, and even eggs. Lots of flavor and lots of vitamins.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Onions
- 1 medium raw Green-bell Pepper
- 1 Jalapeno Peppers
- 2 medium Roma Tomato, Raw
- 2 tsp Real Lime
- 2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 2 tsp Salt, Tsp.
- 0 oz Splenda Packet
- 8 tbsp Pure Olive Oil
Directions
Blend all of the vegetables and spices together in a blender and bottle in the fridge. When ready to use, put 1TBSP olive oil in a pan and cook 1/2 cup sofrito over medium heat about ten minutes, or until it is darker and doesn't have an "oniony bite" to it.
