Garbanzo Bean Hummus

Easy vegan hummus recipe ready in less than 15 minutes. This makes a sauce-like consistency. If you are used to a thicker hummus, you may not care for this as much. Next time, I may try lime juice in place of the lemon.
Ingredients
- 15 oz Organic Garbanzo Beans
- 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 cloves Garlic Clove
- 1/8 cup LEMON Juice, Fresh Squeezed
- 1 yields Lime Juice Raw
Directions
Blend all in ingredients, including liquid in can if using canned beans, in food processor or blender until smooth.
Serve with baked corn chip, whole wheat pita bread or raw vegetables.
Makes a nice sauce to spoon into a pita half before adding grilled or sauteed vegetables.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Substitute sesame tahini for the olive oil.
Use ONLY the lemon juice from one lemon, or the lime juice from one lime if you don't like so much citrus flavor in your hummus.
