Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Red Lentils
- 1/2 cup White Basmati Rice
- 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
- 1 1/2 cups Water, Bottled
- 1/2 tsp Spices, Ground Turmeric
- 2 tsp Ginger Root
- 1 cloves Garlic Clove
- 1 Peppers, Hot Chili, Red
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice Raw
- 2 1/2 tbsp Chopped Cilantro
Directions
SAUTE ONION IN OLIVE OIL OVER MED HIGH HEAT IN SAUCEPAN. . ADD GINGER, GARLIC, DRIED RED PEPPER. THEN ADD RICE AND LENTILS WITH WATER. LOWER HEAT SIMMER TILL DONE 15-20 MINUTES STIR IN LEMON JUICE AND SPRINKLE WITH CILANTRO
