Spicy Tofu (Vegetarian Times)

Easy & delicious hot or cold. Good as a snack or with sauteed greens & rice as a quick main dish or fast lunch.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg Extra Firm Tofu
- 3 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Hot Chili Sauce
- 2 tbsp Seasoned Original Rice Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 2 tsp Expeller Pressed Toasted Sesame Oil Unrefined 8 fl oz
- 1/2 cup Onions, Green
- 2 tbsp Real Mayo
Directions
1. Press & cube tofu
2. heat nonstick or cast iron skillet over medium hi heat; add tofu and cook 10-12 minutes until golden, stir occasionally.
3. Stir together soy sauce, sriracha, vinegar, maple syrup, sesame oil & 2T water in small bowl. Add to tofu in pan, simmer, cook until most of liquid is absorbed, 2-3 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, stir in green onions and mayo. Substitute vegan mayo if desired.
