Spinach-Tomato Pasta

Low Cal Veggie Pasta Sauce with Whole Wheat Penne
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Chopped White Onions
- 2 Garlic Clove
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tbsp red wine
- 28 oz Petite Diced Tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Basil, Dried
- 1 tsp Oregano, Dried
- 1/4 tsp Salt*
- 1/2 tsp Pepper*
- 2 cups Spinach
- 2 cups Organic Whole Wheat Penne Pasta
Directions
Saute Garlic and Chopped Onion in skillet until onions are soft but not clear.
Add Balsamic Vinegar and Wine, saute a few more minutes.
Add Tomatoes and seasonings. Bring to boil. Allow to boil for three to five minutes.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Add spinach, cover, cook five minutes.
Serve over cooked whole wheat penne.
