Stuffed Bell Peppers from lavonnes

Baked green bell peppers stuffed with 95% lean hamburger, green onions, sliced mushrooms, chopped red jalapeno peppers and simmered in canned stewed tomatos. Baked for 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 large Green Bell Pepper
- 8 oz Ground Beef, 95% Lean, Raw
- 1/2 cup Green Onions
- 1/2 cup Mushrooms Raw/sliced
- 1/4 cup Fire Roasted Red Peppers
- 14 1/2 oz Stewed Tomatoes Mexican Recipes
Directions
Brown hamburger. Add onions, mushrooms, and roasted red peppers. When ingredients are softened, add one can stewed tomatoes and simmer for awhile.
Cut green bell peppers in 1/2 and remove seeds and pulp inside. Place in baking dish sprayed with PAM. Microwave for 3 minutes to begin cooking. Remove from microwave and fill each pepper with hamburger mixture. Place in 375 degree preheated oven for 30 minutes.
