This is a must-make recipe if you’re a fan of the divine duo of chocolate and mint or you’re a lover of milkshakes -- or both!

1. Add the hemp seeds (hemp hearts) to a blender. Cover and blend on high speed until powdery.
2. Add the dates, coconut milk beverage (well chilled), avocado, cocoa powder, mint leaves, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract. Cover and puree on high speed until thick and creamy, at least 3 minutes. (Hint: If desired, puree with 2 or 3 ice cubes for a chillier smoothie. Add extra coconut milk beverage by the tablespoon for a thinner smoothie.)
3. Serve in a large goblet or milkshake glass.
