This simple drink typically includes a combination of good bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup and raw egg whites. This cocktail omits the raw eggs, however, and uses aquafaba instead. Recipe adapted from Absolut.

Directions

1. Add aquafaba liquid to mixer and mix on high for about 10 minutes; stiff peaks will form. Divide the whip into two.
2. Add one cup of ice cubes to a shaker.
3. Next, add bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup and half of whipped aquafaba and shake and strain into a chilled glass with ice.
4. Add remaining one to two dollops to the top of the drink, and garnish with two Luxardo cherries (because they’re that good), an orange slice and orange zest. Enjoy!
