Resistance Band Training

Rubber Cord Exercises

Rubber cords are hollow and have handles attached to the ends. You may also hear these referred to as resistance bands, resistance cords or resistance tubing. In similar fashion to dumbbells, these training tools are versatile and give you many exercise options. They also range in strength from extra light to extra heavy. With most manufacturers, the darkest colored bands have the most resistance. When doing exercises, make sure to choose a resistance that taxes your muscles thoroughly.
