How to Do an Ollie Kick Flip on a Skateboard

The Ollie is the classic and foundational aerial skateboard trick that, when properly executed, pops your skateboard up into the air. Once you have learned to execute an Ollie, you can move on to one of its variations--the Ollie kick flip. Once airborne, you can flip the skateboard along its length for a full 360-degree turn, then land the board and roll off to complete the Ollie kick flip. While relatively simple to execute, the Ollie kick flip is visually impressive.
