Team RadioShack to Participate in the LIVESTRONG Challenge Austin
Riders from Team RadioShack and Trek-LIVESTRONG U23 team will descend upon Austin, Texas for the LIVESTRONG Challenge Austin this weekend, October 14 - 16. Tour of California champions Chris Horner and Levi Leipheimer, along with Team RadioShack teammates Jason McCartney and former American champion Ben King will join the thousands of runners and riders supporting the 28 million people around the world living with cancer.
Riders will have the chance to to join these Tour veterans as well as some of the best up-and-coming riders as they roll into Austin for the big weekend. Beyond the Ride for the Roses on Sunday, October 16 (the inaugural fundraising event for the Lance Armstrong Foundation which began 15 years ago), fans will have an opportunity to meet Team RadioShack at Mellow Johnny's Bike Shop.

Mellow Johnny's will host an interactive Q & A session with Chris Horner, Ben King and Jason McCartney followed by an autograph signing on Saturday, October 15 at 2:00pm CDT. The rider appearance and fan meet & greet will take place in the Bike Shop, located at the heart of the LIVESTRONG Challenge Expo.
The expo area serves as packet pick-up for participants and a showcase of LIVESTRONG's health and wellness partners, including Team RadioShack sponsors RadioShack and Nissan. Levi Leipheimer will be making an appearance at the Nissan Expo booth on Friday, October 14 from 4:00pm - 5:00pm and Saturday, Oct. 15 from 11:00am - 12:00pm.
