The Road to Victory

Haimar Zubeldia's victory came in Saturday's final stage of the Tour de l'Ain, but the road to succes began with the opening prologue victory and a team dedicated to a week of solid racing. Share the journey in pictures.

With Haimar in yellow for Stage 1, The Shack riders controlled the first road stage. Fumy does the work.

Haimar usually works for others, but he looks rather nice in yellow we think.

Markel and Ivan took to the road on Stage 2. With Haimar out of yellow for the moment, the Team didn't have to control the race for a few days.

Fumy put up a great effort in the sprint of Stage 2.

Chechu is all smiles before the Stage 3 start.

Markel rides comfortably through the French countryside.

Rovny works hard to keep Haimar within striking position on Stage 3.

Stage 4 brings Chechu to the front for the final climb. Behind him an attentive Zubeldia gets ready to fly on the Grand Colombier.

Time to go! Haimar and a select few breakaway from the main field.

The face of a determined Haimar Zubeldia.

Yellow on the first day and yellow on the last = a great win for Haimar and Team RadioShack. Congratulations to everyone!
