My name is George Chaplin, I am 28 years old, I recently got enggaged to the love of my life Ashley White, My weightloss started when I was around 600lbs & I found out that I have type two diabetes with a blood sugar of over 550+, & severe high blood preasure & severe edema in the legs. I visited a local doctor in Webstercity, Iowa. Who basically gave me the realization of a death certificate. He didn't think I would make it within the year.. A spark of inspiration came when I had to tell my family once again. I might die. See I almost gave up on life in Oct. 4th 2006. To a very bad suicide attempt which involved a chemical inbalance due to the ' Monster Energy Drinks ' I was taking hoping to loose weight.. That's a differnt storie.. Once I found inspiration to live I was left with the reality that my weight my kill me once again.. I decided to fight back in little hopes that I might actually suceed this time. I got on a program called Iowa Cares & started seeing a doctor in Iowa City Iowa. At the University of Iowa Health Care Clinic. After a long year & taking many medications daily & finding inspiration with friends online. That motivated me not to just leave the computer to walk, But to actually take the computer with me! Hints: WalkWIthCHappy.com was born. With the support & inspiration from those friends I was able to maintain a healthy exercise schedule daily! Hints: How I got down to 533lbs. There was still some thing very much lacking in my diet, A online meal calculator that actually helped me & shown me what I was eating.. My nutrioustist after 6 months of seeing her finally introduced me to this site... I think it will add the extra edge that I needed. Please feel free to add me as a friend & even drop me a line.. My blood preasure is completely normal now & the edema is almost gone accept for my left leg where it bounces back & fourth..
