"In order to get something you've never had you must first do something you've never done.." Edit*** As of 1/1/2010 I am down 101 pounds!!! That's exactly 2 years to the DAY that I started this journey!!!*** *** I grew up overweight. Severely overweight. Obese. I entered into the 200's when I was 14 years old and I just took for granted that that is where I was destined to remain for the rest of my life. I surrendered and didn't even try to change. I ate what I wanted, when I wanted, and never lost a pound, despite the fact that I had always been active. I settled into my role as the "overweight girl with the great personality". Then it happened. Morning came. I slept for so many years and then my morning came. I WOKE UP! And I've never been the same. If you've struggled with issues, whether it be weight, depression, low self esteem, eating disorders, ect, I am here to tell you, first-hand...Morning will come. *** I love helping others, and if you ever just feel beat down feel free to PM me. Even if we've never spoken or you just don't know what to do or where to go. Remember, diamonds are made under pressure, so the toughest times in our lives, in retrospect, often prove to be the times that we grew the most. *** For the first time in my life I am looking forward to the things that lie ahead. I wake each day in anticipation of what the day will bring (even if I hate the early morning and would probably rather sleep in).
