About Me:

I'm 25. I've always known that I really benefit from eating a low carb, no sugar and no dairy diet but I haven't had the devotion or resources until recently to devote a substantial amount of time to my health and fitness. I mean I've done the half-hearted crash diet and had the brief gym phase and I even tried a detox once but now I'm excited about making healthy living a lifestyle! The abbreviations in my food journal may be a little odd - I started off as writing it just for me and I tend to write in shorthand and perhaps in a little too much detail. I will try to edit it a bit and make it more accessible. I really enjoy reading everyone's profiles, blogs and food diaries. Please feel free to add me as a friend!

No Alcohol today.
I got the h1n1 vaccine on Saturday while my bf was really really sick and I was starting to get sick. Kind of a mistake. I didn't get as sick as my bf but I am really sore and achy all over with a cough and stuffed sinuses and it get's worse at night. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better.

Shark Week is over.
I had too much caffiene today.
I also had a martini with lunch.
I felt excellent this morning and crashed starting about 6:00pm.

I feel horrible tonight - bloated and heartburn.
Must stick to only green tea!!!!! Sugar and cream is too much.
No grapefruit extract taken today.
I am taking Vitamin D and Calcium Magnesium before bed.
I ate too much fat and sugar today and am bloated and paying the consequences. Must focus on eating more protein and vegetables tomorrow!

Eggs, broccoli and what ever veggies are in my fridge and tomorrow I will eat them!

Day 3 of no alcohol.
Day 3 of Shark Week.
Woke up at 8:45am. (Slept in, it was fabulous!)
Exercised 30 minutes in the morning.
Took Grapefruit Extract with Breakfast and Lunch.
The sugar that was in the oatmeal packets this morning was WAY TOO MUCH! I think the Grapefruit Extract is really cutting down my desire for sugar which was low already.
Green Tea surprisingly tastes good without any sugar/honey.
Need to find ways to spoil myself with other than food - maybe a hot bath tonight?

Took Calcium Magnesium Supplement with Vitamin D right before bed.
Took Grapefruit Extract with Dinner.
Couldn't sleep until 1:30am which might be a good thing because I had more positive energy today than in a long while. Usually I just sleep all the time.
