About Me:

Well I am a mother of a 5 year old who at the current date... now weighs more than she did when she delivered said 5 year old.... I am 6 weeks out from a very difficult Knee Surgery, a lateral release, during which they had to cut off the bottom half of my knee cap. I was sidelined for about 3 weeks post up.. but had been unable to work out since May due to another injury associated with the same knee. I gained 15 lbs during that time period and am disgusted with myself. I hope to be able to change my about me soon though with the support of my fellow live strong community members!

Today, I feel... wonderful yet again! Yesterday I did not eat enough and wasn't hungry but don't want to repeat that. I have decided that instead of one day to indulge all day.. I will take each meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner and pick one day to have whatever I want for each meal. For example, today I am having whatever I want for breakfast, maybe later in the week one day I'll eat whatever I want for Lunch. That seems to work for me. I read that not eating enough calories can have the opposite effect... and I don't want that to happen!

Feeling a bit better today... I got my period though so I am curious how this may have been affecting my weight these past few days, I know it made me want those chocolate donuts yesterday... that's for sure!!! LOL I had to have a mole removed from my toe yesterday to be sent to the lab and was told not to work out last night, and I was a bit upset about that, but maybe it all worked out being as I feel so good today. I am starting my women's ultra vitamin packs from GNC today, so far so good! Hopefully the diet continues to go as well as it has so far!

I am more hungry than usual today, granted I switched from regular eggs to egg whites... and it wasn't as filling even with my whey protein shake prior to eating. Someone brought donuts into work and I am SOOO tempted... I don't want to overeat later in the day.... I am thinking maybe having a donut and treating myself every once in a while isn't the end of the world... any opinions?

Mood: Frustrated
Today, I feel... HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I worked so hard yesterday to make sure I stayed UNDER my alloted calorie intake... and here I am.. a pound heavier... I even worked off 1000 of the calories I took in yesterday... I am confused and frustrated. I am doing the Weight Loss Dare, hence me loging my weight everyday.... Maybe I should switch to once a week.... SO FRUSTRATED. Also I was not aware that you burn as many calories as you do while sleeping and driving... interesting, I put my hours of sitting at work and driving hours in first thing in the morning so that I have them over with, should I wait and factor them in later in the day?
Not to mention my killer headache that just keeps getting worse and worse today... why is that? Is it the change in my diet? UGH... talk about not wanting to do ANYTHING, I wanna curl up in a ball and go to sleep. I hope I get a good workout in tonight.

I saw your post and read what you wrote above and I think if you're willing you should try what bnelsons has been saying and has lost 60 pounds by doing. if your calorie goal is 1900 then you should net it. eat back calories burned. I've been doing this for a week and have begun to lose more plus I have so much energy from eating more. also you should set your activity level to lightly active and only log exercise or what you do physically that's out of your normal day. take a look at bnelsons or my diary to see if I didn't make sense typing this lol. sry it's so long but hopefully it's helpful.
oh and your headache might be from too much sodium or not eating enough which goes with my other comment

Today, I feel... like I hate myself for getting this big and that this diet is terrible... I feel really bad for eating half of that piece of pie. I am going to have to do extra hula hooping on the wii tonight... well instead of Wii I took a 15 min very brisk walk with my 5 year old. I figured I would change it up a bit since my back is a tad sore from Yoga yesterday.... Back to the Wii tomorrow night!
