I am a 43 year old woman who married the love of my life 19 years ago. We have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and I refuse to let it control me!!! I am taking my meds regularly, doing my finger sticks twice a day and I am trying to stick to a 1500 calorie diet. I know this will be a long hard road but as my husband says "We've been through more difficult times than these!"
