I was a farmer when I was young. I have been taking DOLE Delmont,and Chiquita Bananas all these 21 years in U.S.A..
I was attracted to buy certified organic bananas yesterday. I took one yesterday. The banana was not ripe though it appeared ripe from the look at the skin.
This morning, the banana skin turns cloudy dark which is not usual for any kind of banana. Please be informed that I was a farmer when I was young. I liked bananas, I ate a lot of bananas (real organic ones), I have experience of planting and harvesting bananas for more than 15 years. I seldom seen banana skin turn that kind of cloudy dark color. I strong suspect that the DOLE ceritified organic bananas have been condamnated with poisonous farm chemicals. If these bananas were from Malaysia, I would suspect the farmer applying ICI Furatan 3G when planting those banana. ICI furatan 3G is a very poisonous chemical used to kill rhinocerous beatles in Oil palm plantation. I believe the Columbian might have used similar chemical in the soil for the banana plantation. Please investigate. Thanks. I will also write to FDA.

I've always liked bananas but I started eating the organic ones a few years ago and now I can't eat the "regular" ones any more. They just don't have the same fresh full flavor as organic bananas. If they don't have any organic bananas at the store, I just don't bother buying any at all since I know I won't be satisfied.
