Sweet potatoes are a great source of fiber and taste delicious even without seasonings. However, I occasionally drizzle a bit of honey over these warm potatoes to satisfy my craving for sweets. Delish! ^.^

Delicious with nothing on them..good with a sprinkling of freshly milled pepper, I find putting too much on them ruins their flavour and dont add salt, if you put salt it ruins the purpose of it being sweet.

Yummy and much healthier than White potatoes.

Other varieties of potatoes are also healthy, including "white" potatoes, such as baker type potatoes and red potatoes. They are, like sweet potatoes, also excellent sources of vitamins and minerals and the much needed potassium. A lot of great phytonutrients can be found in their skins that are unique to these types of potatoes. Balance, it's all about balance and variety. Very few fruits or vegetables should ever be regarded as inferior.

I love sweet potatoes plain but at times I do like to drizzle a little honey or cinnamon just to make it sweet!

I used to hate sweet potatoes at the holidays with all that brown sugar and marshmallow. Once I tried them without all that, I absolutely LOVE them. The two ways I usually fix them:
1. Cut potatoes into cubes, toss them in a bit of olive oil, sprinkle with dried oregano and a little salt and pepper. cook at 350 F for 60 minutes. Yummy!
2. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray, slice the potatos very thin and lay them on the cookie sheet. Spray them with cooking spray and a little salt. Cook in 400 F oven for 15 minutes. Mine never really get crispy like chips, but they really do taste good.

Poke holes all over it with a fork and microwave it for 5 minutes. Perfection. No toppings necessary.
