A friend told me that a banana is the perfect after-workout food. I completely agree! I eat one after every workout and it just seems to be the perfect food at that time. Try it with a tbsp of peanut butter - so good!!

The Banana fruit has a wonderful sweetness that is unlike any other fruit. It is a fairly soft and starchy fruit. It can be eaten at any time of the day. I like my banana's to be bright yellow with little to no brown spotting.
My favorite way to eat the banana is by
1)Hold banana upright, with stem portion up
2) Peel banana from stem side in to three equal portions
3) Place banana in mouth and softly bite
4) close eyes and chew for 10 seconds, then swallow
5) Repeat step 4 until finished.

I agree with tigerlilyxoxo. I love bananas when they are yellow with brown spots all over, just the little ones. They seem to be so much sweeter and yummier.

Slice the banana in half lengthwise, put a couple of dollops of Fat Free Yogurt, some berries and granola...my favorite banana split for lunch! : )

I absolutely love bananas! They are the best when they are yellow with brown spots all over (not large brown spots or sections of all brown--just before that). The starch in the banana really makes it a satisfying sweet treat, especially if you chew it and not gobble it.
