These apples make me proud to be a Minnesotan. They are perfect for out the door breakfast or snack because they are so satisfying and they really fill you up!!

I would Murder for these apples.

This apple, invented by the University of Minnesota, is considered the gem of the apple industry. It tastes fantastic. The only negative is the price is higher than other apples.

This is the best apple ever. It is usually only available for a short time in fall to early winter. It has the right balance between sweet and sour and a super crunch.

this apple is soooooo good! I had never heard of it before but figured something with "honey" in the name had to be good. I'm sad to hear from the other review that they are only available for a limited time of the year

This is a terrific apple- it stays crisp for weeks on your shelf, and you can get it in the middle of winter crisp. It's a little bit tart, mainly sweet, and always crisp. I'd liken it to a Fuji or Macintosh. And when is an apple ever bad for you?

these are the best apples i have found! they are delicious and i am not normally a big fan of apples. they are crunchy and sweet and the texture and taste is superior to other apples. these are very filling and can easily hold you over between meals. i love these apples and they are the only variety i will buy anymore.

This is my all time favorite apple! It has the perfect taste between sweet and sour, and has a great crispness to it. It's only available around early fall here in Minnesota...I try to stock up when I can. Highly recommended.

My husband and I discovered these at the Chicago Glenwood Farmers Market last year. OH MY...these are absoulutely the best tasting apple ever.
Now it like a scavenger hunt to locate a supply Its January 2011 and the supply is running low in the stores. The current price is 4 dollars a pound. Here is my problem, steak or apples...apples or steak....APPLE I can have six of them to one steak....YEAH!!

These apples are sooo delicious. They've got an almost caramel-ish taste to them.

These are wonderful! I am hoping the supply holds out for a bit longer this fall. Also I am planting a Honeycrisp apple tree next spring, it is on wait-list at the greenhouse already =) Love this variety!

The perfect apple. Very crispy, with an initial tartness followed by an intense sweet. Eat this raw, its the best plain.

Honeycrisp apples are the best! Crunchy, sweet, good apple flavor, and is great raw or cooked... what more could anyone ask for in an apple?
Oh, yeah - it's healthy, too!

Wonderful snack. I love it! Tart, crisp yet sweet too. Wish it was available all year :(

These are, quite honestly, the best apples I've ever had. I wait every year for Honeycrisp season. For something pretty healthy for you, these are wonderful! I just eat them raw or with dipping caramel, haven't tried cooking them.

These are the best apples in the universe! They can get a little pricey ($2.99/lb), but they also go on sale frequently. The best thing about them is that they are consistently good. I can't tell you how many bags of apples I've bought only to find out they are tasetless or mushy. Honeycrisps are worth the money!
