I open a can of StarKist Chunk Light Tuna in water every morning, and share it with my cat Sammy. I opened the last can yesterday, and so my step-son went to Wal-Mart last night to get some more. Instead of purchasing the StarKist brand, he purchased a case of Wal-Mart's Great Value brand. I saw it on the kitchen table this morning and thought "I sure hope this doesn't taste bad, as we NOW have a whole case of this stuff!"
When I opened the case, and then the 1st can, I spooned Sammy's out onto a saucer as I always do, and he ate it with no sign of any difference. I took a spoon full and could not tell that I was NOT eating our standard brand. I searched online to find out more about this brand, and ended up here. I simply wanted to write a review, but had to "join" to do so. So... here I am! LOL!
To answer the questions above:
It was the same or similar to StarKist brand to me.
I have a whole case, so yes, I will eat it again :)
I have no clue as to tastiness-to-health ratio...
I do not know about recipes as I simply share one can each morning, right out of the can.
I recommend you buy a can and try it. :)
