The Nature's Own thin sliced wheat bagel is a healthy and tasty alternative to the standard wheat bread we health conscious often force ourselves to eat. It has a softer, more bread like texture than wheat bread and its nutritional values are comparable. Since it is sliced into two pieces, making a small sandwich is very easy. It is lower in calories and sodium than two slices of bread and helps us stay in line with the "smaller meals more often" regimen. I make morning toast with a little margarine and any sandwich-fare for small meals throughout the day. It also makes an excellent PB&J that fits nicely into the jersey for that 60 mile Saturday bike ride. I travel 20+ days of the month and find these a particularly handy way to keep myself fed without bellying up to the fast food counter in the airport. Enjoy!
