I generally do not eat bread when on a diet for the taste of bread. We all know that great tasting warm bread from the oven with real butter is a few hundred calories a slice.
So in using this bread, I am really looking at it more as a holder or container for something else and to fill me up. Taste is secondary. I normally use the 50 calorie a slice bread since this is hard to come by..
To me, when used for sandwiches it tastes fine and is only 40 calories a slice but with double fiber.

Yeah, this is great tasting bread if you enjoy the sort that's bland and stale. It's called "honey wheat" but I taste no hint of honey OR wheat. I only bought this bread because the store was out of my usual healthy choice whole wheat; you can be sure I won't make the mistake of purchasing this again. I'd rather go without than be forced to finish this loaf off.

Great tasting bread! Cannot taste the difference between the original version and the lower-calorie version.
