The main advantage of this bread is the low calorie total (40 calories per slice vs. 100 calories or more for other brands). It also contains a huge amount of fiber (5g.), very low sugar (only 1 g.), and a decent amount of protein (3g.). Based on this, I was expecting it to taste like sawdust. I was pleasantly surprised. It has less flavor than I would hope and coarse texture. While not the best wheat bread I've had, it is certainly palatable, and DEFINITELY worth the tradeoff. I recommend it.
