I'm Jeremy Shore for LIVESTRONG.COM, here to talk about how to increase your tricep's endurance. Pairing two triceps exercises back-to-back is a great way to build overall strength and endurance in the triceps. Try first starting with a heavier weight, a heavier load on the triceps, and immediately follow that with a lighter body weight movement. Back-to-back, try these two moves. First, we'll do a tricep extension or tricep skull crusher with dumbbells. Lay back on the bench, feet straight ahead, hip-width apart, arms straight, towards the ceiling. From here, bend at the elbows, lowering the dumbbells just about your temples, and then kick straight back up. Use heavy enough of a weight that you can get six to eight reps, keeping the movement controlled, breathing through the movement, keeping your elbows pointing straight towards the ceiling. Keep the abs tight. After you perform six to eight, set your weights down, and immediately move into a close grip push-up, trying to get as many as you can, and only stopping when you've got about one to two left in the tank.
