Hi, I'm Amber Nimedez with LIVESTRONG.COM, and today I'm going to show a few techniques on how to learn a back flip. Let me show you one first. These are some of the drills to help you prep for that. So, the first one is just a regular stretch down. I like to start with my arms by my ears, nice tight core, bend the legs, jump up; nice soft landing. Up, down. Nice tight body as you jump and try to be soft on the landing. The second one is just another drill; you're going to punch with your foot, bring your arms up, swing your arms around, bring your knee in. So, punch, tuck. Nice tight core and then, the other side. And then the last one to strengthen your core, you're going to go on your back, arms are going to go above the head, extend the legs out and you're going to power your knees up and grab them. And these are some drills that will help you learn a back flip. But, you have to be strong and powerful to do one. I'm Amber Nimedez with LIVESTRONG.COM.
