Hi. I'm Amber Nimedez with LIVESTRONG.COM, and I'm going to show you a few exercises that you can do at home to reduce your stomach. I'm going to have you start off if a plank position and you want to make sure that your shoulders are directly over your hands. I want you to squeeze your glutes and even as you can get your feet together and squeeze your thighs together. So everything in my body is engaged. And then I'm going to use my abs to actually pull my hips up in to the air in to a downward facing dog. OK. And then I'm going to slowly go back down in to that plank position again squeezing every muscle in my body especially my core, and then bring my body right back up to downward facing dog. And right back down, and up, and down and up. So, you're going to do that about ten times and then you're going to hold it here and again really really squeezing those abs, squeezing those glutes, squeezing those thighs together. And hold for as long as you can for about a minute. And come on down and then we're going to do the side abs here, you're obliques. You're going to go down on to your mat, and I'm going to go down to my forearm here and then my feet are going to be stacked right on top of each other, I'm going to use this hand here to anchor my body, and I'm going to push my hips nice and high, up OK. And then I'm going to lower them down, barely tapping the mat and I'm going to bring my hips right back up, and down and up and down and up, really feeling the work in my side obliques here, up and down. And then if you're a little bit more advanced, you can take your hand, place it on your hips or up nice and high, same thing up and down. And then you want to do the other side of course. Step, you want to push over, start down on my forearm, make sure my feet are stacked up right on top of each other, using my left hand this time, to hold me down, and then I'm going to push my hips up and down, up, down, up and down. And then if you're more advanced you're going to place the hand up, up and down. You don't need a gym to work on your abs. You can do these exercises at home, to reduce your stomach. My name is Amber Nimedez from LIVESTRONG.COM.
