Hi, I'm Amber Nimedez for LIVESTRONG.COM, and I'm going to teach you a few exercises on how to promote blood flow. The first one I'm going to do against the wall and the best way to get into this is to sit sideways against the wall and then slowly work your way up the wall laying down on your back. Okay. So, I'm going to flex my feet and I'm going to flip my palms up. Now, you can absolutely relax here, but what I want you to do is flex your feet back, pretend like you have a tray of water on the backs of your feet. And then, I want you tighten up your legs as much as possible. So, that's going to promote basically a kinetic chain and it's also going to force your legs down into your hips which is going to promote blood flow. And you could hang out here for a good minute and then after the minute, I want you to do some femur rotations. So, you're going to rotate your legs out and in, out and in and then, you're going to open up the legs a little bit wider and you're going to do the same movement, out and in. And then, a little bit wider; out and in; and then back to the starting position. And then bringing your legs down into a frog and you're going to hang out here for another 30 seconds to about a minute. And those are a few exercises to help with blood circulation and blood flow. I'm Amber Nimedez for LIVESTRONG.COM.
