Hi, I'm Amber Nimedez for LIVESTRONG.COM. And I'm going to teach you some exercises to slim the legs but not build muscle. So, the first that we're going to do, is just a basic squat, so you feet are going to be hip width apart. And then, you're just going to bend down into a squat, raise the arms up nice and tall and then, stand right back, up. And right back down, weight into the heels, and you're going to feel this in your glutes and your hamstrings. And you should do this about ten times. And then, the next one that you're going to do, is just lateral lift with the leg. So, feet starting about hip width apart, straight ahead and then, you're going to lift your leg to the side and bring it right down to the starting position. And then, up and down, up and down, try to lead with your heel. You'll feel this in the outer part of the glute and then, also in the standing leg. And then, you'll switch to the other side. And then, the last one that you're going to do, is a hamstring curl. But you're going to do it standing and you're going to do one leg at a time. Feet straight ahead and then, you're going to have your knees right next to each other. And you're just going to kick your heel up towards your butt. And you'll feel this again, in your standing leg and then, also in the back here, of the hamstring. Keeping your chest nice and tall and then, you'll switch. I would do about three sets of ten for each exercise. I'm Amber Nimedez for LIVESTRONG.COM and those were some exercises to slim the legs without building muscle.
