Hi, my name is Amber Nimedez-Lyftogt with LIVESTRONG.COM, and today I'm going to talk to you about doing some exercises for hip recovery. So, go ahead and pull up a chair and have a seat. And you want to sit up nice and tall and then you're going to extend one leg out. And with this foot, you're going to do circles going over to the right and then circles to the left. And then you're also going to do some point flexes; you're going to go down and up with the foot, about ten times each direction. And then, you're going to use your Yoga block or a paper towel roll or whatever you have at home. You're going to put right in between your knees. Again, sitting up tall, go ahead and place your hands on your thighs and put your palms facing up. So, your shoulders are nice and relaxed and then you're just going to squeeze and release the block. And you're going to do this for about 30 squeezes, relaxing your stomach using about 35 percent of your strength. And when you're done with 30, you're going to hold onto the block in between your knees and you're just going to lift up your heels and then you're going to lower them right back down. And you're going to do this about 30 times, keeping your spine nice and tall. And then you can repeat that series three times through.
