Hello, my name is Amber Nimedez-Lyftogt with LIVESTRONG.COM, and I'm going to teach you a few exercises to help slim your waist. So, the first thing I want you to do is stand at the back of your mat and I want you to inhale your arms up and then exhale, fold, feel the stretch in the back of your legs, drop your head, walk your hands all the way out to the plank position. And you're going to hold this for just a couple of seconds 'cause we're going to go right back to your elbows. Hold here and you're going to drop your hips down to the side and then take it right back up and then to the other side. Do that a couple of times and then you're going to pop yourself right back up to the upper plank position. Take your right knee to get to the opposite elbow and then the left knee to the right elbow. Walk your hands all the way back, forward hand, drop the head, breath. Inhale the arms up and then we're going to do it again. Exhale the arms down, drop the head, feel the stretch in the back of the legs. Walk your hands all the way out, upper plank position; hold for two breaths. Come down into the elbows, drop your hips to the side, up and over to the other side. One more time. And then prop yourself right back up to that upper plank position. Take your right knee into the left elbow, left knee to the right elbow. Great. Walk your hands all the way back to your feet, hang in here two deep breaths. Inhale the arms all the way up and exhale down. So, you can repeat that as many times as you like; a good amount is maybe three sets of ten or if that's a little bit too challenging, start off with a set of ten.
