Hey, everybody. I'm chef Mareya, the Fit Foody, and today I want to share some smart food for the brain. Now we're all looking for power for our bodies, but brain function regulates everything. So when we're feeding ourselves the right way, we're keeping our mind sharp. Two great things that you can do to increase your brain function. One is to get a lot of anti oxidants in to your diet. Starting with green vegetables. I've got celery here, some broccoli, some cabbage, peppers, fennel, these are all great ways to boost your anti oxidant quotient because they deliver all of the right vitamins and minerals. You've got Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin K and all kinds of added benefits there with your green vegetables. I also love to recommend flax and walnuts. Flax and walnuts are two great sources of omega threes. You can also get omega threes from cold water fish like salmon, mackerel. Those are all great sources of delivering those vital nutrients. And we're all about supporting healthy function with the foods that we eat. You can also get that with fish oil. Good sources of fish oil can deliver those omega threes as well. And if you don't eat fish, you can always get them from the vegetarian sources. So just a few great tips on helping to feed that brain of yours. I'm chef Mareya, the Fit Foody. Thanks for staying here and watching this. Make sure you check out all my other healthy food videos and eat cleaner every day. We'll see you soon.
