Hi, I'm Denise Druce for LIVESTRONG.com. Let's take a look at how to breathe during interval cardio. I'll teach you three ways to improve your breathing. You can start training yourself to be a better breather when you are at rest, practice taking deep breaths through the nose in and out and then when you start exercising, notice that if you can breathe through your nose only, you are probably working below 70% of your maximum. So try that at a lower level, in through the nose and out through the nose and then as you pick up the pace you'll notice that there comes a time when you have to start using your mouth for breath as well. So you'll breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth and at the highest intensities of cardio, you're going to breathe through your mouth all the time, inhale and exhale and probably even exhale like that. Alright those are three great ways to improve your breathing for interval cardio. I'm Denise Druce for LIVESTRONG.com.
