Hi there, I'm Jackie of Jackie's Yoga Seattle. Today, talking about to loosen your hamstrings with Yoga. So, we're going to start to ease that hamstring, lengthen that hamstring with just some of the used and common poses in Yoga. Our Downward Facing Dog and our Forward Fold. So, coming to that Adho Mukha Svanasana, just setting up the palms nice and wide, right underneath the shoulders. And you want your fingers firm and wide. Plant the toes, so as you inhale, you lift the hops and ease the chest back along with your heels, sit bones are up. So, from there, say, this is really tight for you or anyone, to do this. To soften, just start to bend one leg at a time, as you try to soften your chest back. As you get a little bit of space, maybe settle into some stillness there and sway side to side even. So, you're getting some space. Because you want to soften the legs here and the back to allow that easing of the hamstring to open. From there, you're going to slowly, heel-toe, literally making sure you're putting your heel first and then, your toe, nice and slow, all the way up to Uttanasana, Forward Fold. So, all the way up to the palms. You're going to stay nice and low, the feet are going to hip width distance and think of belly to thigh here. So, you're going to lower down. So, you can see there's not a lot of flexion in my legs right now, I'm just heavy and forward. So, I only think of coming forward to the toes, let the head be heavy, let the arms hang. And then, again, slowly maybe pedal side to side, try to get that length to soften and open. And then, from there, maybe bend a little, limp it again and sway side to side as you start to lengthen out. So, as you exhale, you want to feel like you're rolling forward to the toes, as you start to lengthen slowly in the legs. Eventually getting a little bit more and a little bit more space. Trying to get those hips right, eventually in line with the heels and getting the crown of the head to move straight down towards the tops of your feet. So, those were some poses to help you loosen your hamstring with Yoga, I hope you found they were helpful. I'm Jackie of Jackie's Yoga Seattle, thanks.
