My name is Holly Del Rosso and I'm at The Works Personal Training Studio in New York City. This is random versus interval training on an elliptical. In my opinion, interval training on an elliptical is much more effective than random training. This way you create your own fat burn instead of being on the elliptical's designed program. I want you to take your fat loss into your own hands. I'm going to teach you Tabata Training, 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off. So for 20 seconds you're going to go all out as fast as you can and then for the 10 seconds you're going to bring it down with a little bit more resting comfort level. This is going to increase your athletic condition and performance losing more weight faster, 20 seconds, full intensity as fast as you can go guys, right here. Once 20 seconds is over you're going to bring it down to a more comfortable level for 10 seconds. Now this exercise is for intermediate exercisers out there so you guys can increase aerobic capacity while burning the most calories in a shorter amount of time, no more wasting time on the treadmill for 30 to 60 minutes. This is a compact workout that you can do in 25 minutes, right back up again, bring it back up, 20 seconds as fast as you can go and bring it back down for 10 seconds. So 20 seconds on, 20 seconds off, really go full force and you want to warm up and cool down during this exercise, that way you can have a safe workout.
