Hi, I'm Beth Shaw, founder of YogaFit. And today, we're going to talk about how yoga can make you look younger. A lot of times, stress and tension shows up on our face, with habitual holding patterns in the facial muscles. So, if we want to look younger, one of the first things we need to do is relax the face. So, we can just start in a comfortable seated position, placing the hands on the knees and taking a couple of big circles, moving shoulder to opposite knee. Go ahead, close your eyes, relax and breathe here. Really let your head and neck move around. And, we're going to be eliminating tension from the neck, from the shoulders, and the face. And, you'll want to move your facial muscles around, smile, make some faces, and really get that energy moving. Good. Let's sit up nice and tall. And, one of the best things for anti-aging are backbends. So, we're going to interlace the hands behind the back. Open up the heart center, and take a few deep breaths here. Backbends are anti-aging, and mood elevating, and they make you look younger. You can do this standing or seated. And then finally, inversions, which are the best ways to look young. We're going to lie down, and you can either do a modified shoulder stand, bringing the block underneath the sacrum, extending the legs towards the sky. Or, if you don't need to modify, you can go ahead and move into the full expression of shoulder stand, bringing the legs over the head, and then supporting the low back. This is a great anti-aging pose, and it will make you look younger. You're getting a reverse of gravity. You're getting extra blood flow to the face, so it's like getting a facial. Keep your neck stationary. Do not look around in this pose. If you can engage your abs and lift a little bit higher, go ahead and do this. I'm Beth Shaw, and yoga can and does make you look younger.
